Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its Galaxy Note 20 flagship series of smartphones. The smartphones will be launched during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event, which is scheduled for August 5, 2020. The Snapdragon variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lineup have already surfaced on the certification sites over the last couple of months. Now Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra spotted on the Geekbench database website with Exynos SoC.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (with the model number Samsung SM-N986B) has managed to record a score of 928 in the single-core test and 2,721 in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will come with the company’s in-house Exynos 990 processor, which will be paired with 12GB of RAM. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Exynos variant will also run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. It is already known that the Galaxy S20 series with Exynos 990 chipset in most markets is inferior to its Snapdragon counterparts. This performance gap ended up giving a huge backlash to the brand. To fix this, Samsung is currently planning to use an improved version of Exynos 990 on its Note 20 series, if the recent rumor is to be believed. According to the rumor, the improved Exynos has better thermals than the SD865+ chipset.
