Android 5.0.1 Lollipop was released about a few weeks back by Google and in fact it does not add anything to the operating system but enhances the performance and fixes the bugs. There are still controversies about the update issues and it is yet not perfect. The week points are being fixed and maybe the update is issued after removing the week points in it.

The issues faced by the 5.0 Lollipop include poor Wi-Fi connectivity, quick battery drain, slow performance and crashing. However the Android based handsets the Nexus 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 4, first generation Nexus 7, second generation Nexus 7, Google Play Edition smartphones such as first generation Moto G, HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 can receive 5.0.1 Lollipop update.

Some smartphones like Google Nexus 6 tablet and Google Nexus 9 tablet were pre installed with 5.0 Lollipop and can receive 5.0.1lollipop update directly.
