Samsung launched Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at MWC 2016, now another variant is coming to join the lineup. The Galaxy S7 Active is leaked in pictures, the image shows up front and back side of the handset.
There is a noticeable difference in the Galaxy S7 Active is its physical keys, on the front side of the device. There are three buttons, home key in the center, back button on the right side and recent button on the left side. These keys are absent in the base model, well the variant could be an international model. As per previous leaks, the variant could feature a larger display as compared to base model's 5.5 inch screen.
Lately the mobile spotted on GFXBench and revealed its specifications, as per the listing the device will feature 5.5 inch screen with 2560x1440 resolution. The mobile is powered by Snapdragon 820, with quad core CPU @ 2.1 GHz and Qualcomm Andreo 530. It will have a 4GB RAM, 32GB native storage with 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie snapper. Well as per GFXBench listing 4,032x3,024 camera resolution isn’t capable for 12MP, to count as 12MP a device should have 1,024x1,024 pixels.
There is no information on battery capacity of the Galaxy S7 Active, however the last year variant Galaxy S6 Active features a larger battery as compare to its base model. So, we expect that the Galaxy S7 Active will also come with advanced and long life battery. We expect that base model and Active variant will share rest specifications.
