Samsung Galaxy S9 to get new Exynos 9 with neural engine co-processor

Samsung has launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus successfully. And now this time to talk about a successor – Galaxy S9. As we know that Samsung will launch its 2018’s flagship in MWC or in its dedicated event. Samsung released Galaxy S8 in April 2017 so if the pattern will remain same then it can be said that Galaxy S9 will come in April 2018. OR if the Company plans to launch the upcoming star in MWC then we will meet with new flagship earlier in February 2018.

Recently, we received a new report that the Samsung invested a hefty amount of $30 million to a Chinese Al Company named DeePhi Tech which has already awarded by a few tech giants including Samsung itself, Amazon, and Mediatek for its excellent performance in neural network architecture and compression technology.  The reason for investment is to make better Samsung’s next Exynos chip to beat its competitors in neural networking performance.

According to a reliable source, the Exynos 9810 will be the next Samsung’s chipset which will have the similar neural engine co-processor of Apple A11’s chipset. As we know that the Apple A11 bionic chip has remarked a great performance so it’s really amazing that the next Samsung’s chip - Exynos 9 will have the similar neural networking features. It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will get Exynos 9 and if it will be happened then you will be able to enjoy better neural networking features easily.

Many rumors and reports suggest that the Galaxy S9 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC which is currently un-official but will be available soon, while on the other hand, this report claims that the Galaxy S9 will have remarkable Exynos 9 and Samsung has not yet revealed anything about it so it is possible that Samsung may present Galaxy S9 with either of Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9, or both.
