Samsung will host the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on August 5. At its annual event, the company will launch a wide range of new devices. The new lineup will include premium Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live earbuds. Another highlight of the event is going to be Galaxy Z Fold 2, the successor to the last year’s foldable phone. Today (29-July), a real-life image of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been leaked by a Twitter user via Max Weinbach. On the other hand, another tipster revealed that Galaxy Note 20 will come powered by improved Exynos 990 chipset.
According to the leaked image, Galaxy Z Fold 2 will have a punch-hole camera on the front. If the image is to be believed, this is a fine upgrade over the predecessor which had a larger notch. Moreover, the punch-hole module seems to be trendier as seen on a variety of budget, mid-range, and premium Android smartphones. Another interesting takeaway from the new leak is that the next Samsung foldable phone will indeed be called Galaxy Z Fold 2. The device will also come with support for the 5G network. In addition, the digital blogger @ice universe (famous for Samsung’s leaks) has revealed some more news regarding the upcoming phone. According to him, the new “Galaxy Z Fold 2” will be released in the Thom Browne Edition, too. Recent reports have revealed that Galaxy Z Fold 2’s punch-hole will have a 10MP sensor for selfie experience. The Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC is expected to fuel the device. It could be sporting a 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 12-megapixel (wide-angle) + 64-megapixel triple camera setup. The foldable phone could be available in 256 GB and 512 GB storage options.

As for the Galaxy Note 20, a tipster (Anthony) claims the Exynos 990 inside the Galaxy Note 20 duo will not be the same as the chip inside the latest S series models. Rather, it will be an improved, optimized version and will work as well as the Snapdragon 865 Plus chip. As per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ flat display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, the phone could have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP sensors. Coming to the pricing, according to the leaks, the European pricing is likely to start at €999. In India, the smartphone will be priced at RS 77,999 ($1,043) while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will cost RS 1,05,999 ($1,418).
