Samsung may unveil Galaxy S21 FE on August 19

Yesterday (18-Mar-21), Samsung’s CEO announced that the company will not unveil a new Galaxy Note phone this year due to the global semiconductor shortage. A leaked Samsung product roadmap has now been posted by reliable tipster Evan Blass, which suggests Samsung may launch the Galaxy S21 FE in August this year, instead of a new Note.

According to the leaked roadmap, Samsung has planned an Unpacked FE event for August 19th, where the company will unveil the Galaxy S21 FE. A separate report from SamMobile claims the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also be announced sometime in the third quarter of this year. The Galaxy S21 FE, which will succeed the Galaxy S20 FE, is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset and come with 120Hz AMOLED display. The roadmap also reveals that Samsung's next big launch event will be its "PC Unpacked" event, which will supposedly be held on April 14. The company is rumored to launch a new Chrome-powered Galaxy Chromebook line and Windows-powered Galaxy Book notebooks at the upcoming event.

In June, Samsung will launch a new Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. The upcoming tablet will arrive as a successor variant of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which was unveiled last year. It's claimed July will see the reveal of another Galaxy A series device - the A22 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A22 will be a direct successor to last year's Galaxy A21 and is said to come with 5G support.
