Samsung officially launches Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s

South Korean tech giant Samsung has officially announced two new budget phones – Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s. Both devices claim to offer long-lasting battery life, big display, and powerful cameras for an affordable price.

Samsung Galaxy A02s

The Galaxy A02s has a 6.5-inch TFT display featuring an HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V design. The notch houses a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and the rear-mounted camera setup offers a 13MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 450 Chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Samsung Galaxy A02s packs a 5,000 mAh battery that can support up to 15W for quick charging.

Samsung Galaxy A12

Samsung Galaxy A12 also features 6.5 inches HD+ TFT Infinity-V display with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. Samsung hasn’t said what chipset it used, but looking at the configuration it seems the smartphone is powered by the Helio P35 SoC. The phone offers 4GB of RAM and two storage options: 64GB and 128GB, and a microSD card slot. On the front panel, it has an 8MP camera for selfie experience. There is a quad rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide shooter, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth lens. Like the Galaxy A02s, Samsung A12 is also powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
