Samsung will launch Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and S21 FE in August

After unveiling the Galaxy S21 series earlier this year, the company is ready to launch three new high-end smartphones in the second half of 2021. The Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 were earlier rumored to launch sometime in July 201, but it is now being reported that the upcoming phones could launch a little later.

As per the new report from Yonhap News, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in late August 2021. The report also claims that the Galaxy S21 FE could be priced around KRW 700,000 ($630) in South Korea. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy S21 FE, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 have been designed to fill the gap created by the missing launch of new Galaxy Note series phones.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is rumored to arrive with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 128GB/256GB storage. The phone is likely to run Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin and pack a 4,500mAh battery. The device is said to measure 155.7 x 71.45 x 7.9mm.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to come with an under-display front-facing camera. The foldable phone is expected to feature a 120Hz refresh rate for both cover and internal foldable Super AMOLED displays. It could also have a triple-camera setup, an S Pen, a 4,400mAh battery, and an official IP rating.

Lastly, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 bears a model number SM-F7110 and was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform. The listing revealed it will have 15W charging support. The foldable is said to pack a 3,273mAh battery, a combination of 2,370mAh and 903mAh batteries. It could also have Snapdragon 888, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage.
