Sony announced X series at MWC 2016 in February, the Xperia X, Xperia XA, and Xperia X Performance will get on official sale in June. As per Xperia Blog, people who have pre-registered their interest for new smartphones now receiving emails from the company regarding pre-orders are about to start.
Customers who will pre-order Xperia XA, Xperia X, or Xperia Earheadset, there is an exclusive offer for them, but right at the moment we don’t know what will be included in the offer. If Sony will reduce the price, attach a bundle of accessories or offer another Xperia device. It is vague that people who will pre-order Xperia X Performance will get this offer or not because company didn’t mention anything about the device.
Anyways, all three upcoming smartphones will hit US market and they will be available unlocked except Sony shocks us by outstanding deals with a mobile carrier which is not happened recently. The firm already announced that the Xperia Z series is being replaced by Z series. So after this move it seems that Xperia X Performance seems next flagship of Sony which is successor Xperia Z5.
If we compare Xperia X and Xperia X Performance both have many things in common, for instance, 5.0 inch secreen with 1080p resolution, 32GB of expandable storage, 3GB or RAM, and 23MP rear camera. Though, material that is used in body is quite different with dissimilar processors such as Xperia X is a mid-range mobile and it is powered by Snapdragon 650, while Xperia X Performance is high-end device and it is powered by Snapdragon 820.
