Sony Launched Xperia X Performance, Xperia X, and Xperia XA at MWC 2016

Sony added new mobiles in Xperia X line-up such as Sony Xperia Performance, Sony Xperia X, and Sony Xperia XA. Let’s discuss what Sony has presented to its fans.

Sony Xperia X Performance

Sony Xperia X Performance features a 5" Triluminos display, 1080p resolution (441ppi) and it is powered by Snapdragon 820 (2+2 custom cores). It has 32GB internal storage expandable with MicroSD cards and 3GB RAM. The handset has a 23MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera. The waterproof mobile is made with metal body and beveled screen. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and to lighten the device a 2,700mAh battery is used.

 Sony Xperia X

Sony Xperia X shares few specifications of Sony Xperia Performance such as it comes with a 5 inch Triluminos display, 1080p resolution (441ppi). The device also holds a metal body and beveled screen. Sony Xperia X has a 23 MP primary camera and 13 MP front camera. The device has a 32GB expandable internal memory and 3GB RAM. It runs updated Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The difference between both devices is that Sony Xperia X is powered by a Snapdragon 650 (8 Cortex-A53 cores) chipset while Xperia Performance comes with latest chipset and 2,620mAh battery comes along with the device. Another major difference is Sony Xperia X smartphone is not water resistant.

Sony Xperia XA

Sony Xperia XA has lower specifications that above two mobiles. The device has a 5 inch Triluminos display, with 720p resolution. It has a13MP back camera and 8MP front camera. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6755 (8 Cortex-A53 cores). It has a 16GB expandable and 2GB RAM. Sony Xperia XA runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 2,300mAh battery comes to keep the mobile on. The device doesn’t have a metal exterior and it will be a budget handset. Sony Xperia XA will be available in pink, white and silver color options.
