Sony may have a new Xperia on the way.

With the MWC 17 coming closer and closer, the internet is being bombarded by a plethora of leaked information regarding new smartphones from almost all the big players in the industry. Sony is one of them with their most recent video from TechLoversHD.com suggest the release of a new member of the Xperia family. The successor to the previous Xperia XA, A new upgraded 2017 model of the same phone. The Xperia XA 2017, carrying the model number G3121 was seen in the video posted on YouTube.

 

 

Though no written information has been provided, what we can see from the video is that the new device has a thin bezel display with a long top and bottom bezel, a traditional style of Xperia phones. The screen is most likely to display at 720 pixels and is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P20 processor. Android 7.0 Nougat will be the operating platform. From the suggested features, we can expect an impressive 23MP camera and a microSD card slot for extended storage space.

 

Though not much has yet been revealed, more will be unveiled as time passes and we reach closer to the MWC 17, where Sony is expected to reveal even more devices including the second generation of the Xperia X series and X performance devices, both of which were announced back at the MWC 16.
