Today rumors comes true, Sony has officially launched pink Xperia Z5 Premium. Back in January we heard that the company will launch Xperia Z6 at MWC but it was other way around, instead Sony added new X series in its portfolio and declared that it replaced Z series with X series.
The mobile maker made pink variant of Xperia Z5 Premium official in a tweet on its twitter page @Sonyxperia. Unfortunately, there is no official information about the device including price and availability. Though some rumors suggest that the smartphone will hit some Asian markets too like Midland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
As per latest trend many mobile makers are using pink or Gold pink color in their mobiles. It is not surprising that Song will launch Xperia Z5 Premium in pink color, might be it is a strategy of the Japanese Company to boost sales of Xperia Z5. Furthermore, X series will hit the market in the last quarter of the year.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 2160 x 3840 pixels resolutions. The mobile runs Android OS, v5.1.1 Lollipop which is upgradable to v6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 and has 32 GB storage with 3 GB RAM. On the back side of the device you will find a 23MP rear shooter with LED flash and 5.1MP front shooter with various standard features. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, hotspot, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct and many other connectivity options. The Sony Xperia Z5 premium supports Fast battery charging and Quick Charge 2.0. A Li-Ion 3430 mAh Non-removable battery keep the mobile on.
Previously the mobile was available in Chrome, Black, Gold color options today Pink color joined its members. The smartphone with glossy finish in pink color looks stunning and appealing so Xperia consumers have a chance to own trendy color device.
