As we know there is no American manufacturer participating in the IFA 2015 but the competition is still tough because there are lots of Asian manufacturers taking part in this biggest event and present their products. Sony revealed the complete series of Xperia Z5 including Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is the 5.5 inches large UHD IPS LCD display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. The handset has Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 system on chip, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be increased with the help of microSD card. The Xperia Z5 Premium has 23MP Sony IMX230 Rear-facing, 1/2.3", F/2.0, 24mm focal length rear camera and 5MP Front-facing camera with 25mm focal length for taking the selfies. The handset is energized with 3430mAh battery.
The Xperia Z5 is on number 2 with its 5.2 inches display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution. The handset has the same chipset as Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 and has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB in built memory which can be increased with microSD card. The camera of the handset is also same as 23MP Sony IMX230 Rear-facing, 1/2.3", F/2.0, 24mm focal length rear and 5MP Front-facing, 25mm focal length front facing camera for video calling. The handset is energized with 2900mAh battery.
Xperia Z5 Compact comes in last with the smallest screen size of 4.6 inches with 1280x 720 pixles resolution. The handset carries 138 grams of weight and has the same system on chip as Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 and has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on board memory which can be further increased with microSD card. The camera of the handset is also same as 23MP Sony IMX230 Rear-facing, 1/2.3", F/2.0, 24mm focal length and 5MP Front-facing, 25mm focal length for selfies and video calling. The handset is energized with 2700mAh battery.
All the three handsets belong to the Android family and run the latest Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system. All these Android phones are protected with fingerprint scanner and support the nano sim. Sony has planned to release the complete series in October for the open markets along with the price of the device.
