Sony tries to win the battle with their low range Xperia E1 device

There are lots of brands available in the market, but thinking to defeat the rivals on their own home land is difficult. South Korea has large markets of smartphones and their citizen prefer to use the handsets presented by Samsung, LG and Pentech. These are the giants there because the country is the homeland of above mentioned giants, but there are some users who prefer to use the smartphones according to their choice; Apple is also equally popular among the Korean users.

Recently Sony introduced their Xperia member named “E1” in South Korea. This is the low range handset and might attract the users who don’t want to fritter their money on purchasing of costly handsets.

The Xperia E1 runs Android 4.3 Jelly bean but it is able to upgrade to 4.4KitKat. The handset offers 4 inches WVGA display. As we told you this is a low end device so the handset is equipped with dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor. 512 MB RAM and 3 mega pixel camera is offered by the company. Sony has an expectation from South Korean markets; maybe the users like to use this low cost handset.

Company fixes the $163 price for Korea. As per South Korean media this is the first handset have a price under $ 200. Initially Sony launched high end device Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z2 in South Korea and both handsets got enough popularity among the users. It is expected this new low end device from Sony will also grab enough share for the company.
