Sony Xperia 1.1 rumored to have a Penta rear camera setup

Sony is expected to host an event at MWC next month, where it will announce its upcoming flagship phone. It is reported to be the Sony Xperia 5 Plus which is also described as the Xperia 1.1. Recently, the android next site has revealed some details about the cameras of the upcoming Xperia 1.1 Sony phone.

According to the source, the device will have a Penta camera setup on the back panel, including a 64MP primary sensor, a periscope sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP telephoto shooter and a 2MP ToF sensor. We assume the 64MP module will be used for the shorter telephoto distances before the periscope unit takes over at 5x zoom. On the front, it is expected to have a 12MP sensor for selfie experience. The Xperia 1.1 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset under the hood and support 5G connectivity. Many reports claim that the alleged Sony handset will have a 6.6 inch Samsung made Super AMOLED display that could support Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Further, the Xperia 1.1 to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging as well as wireless charging.
