The world of business is very tough and sometimes survival of a rival depends upon the races of time. The one making its appearance first is likely to reap the benefits on the market and get the customers’ attention. This happened with the race between the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus. The Galaxy Note 4 was scheduled to appear later but because of iPhone 6 plus coming in the market, Samsung had to rush and launched the handset earlier than planned. However, it seems that Samsung's rush resulted in some defective Galaxy Note 4 units. However later the company covered these defects but it did affect their initial production.
The Galaxy Note 4 has 5.7" QHD Super AMOLED display and has the metal casing around it. The display and the metal casing are not well fitting and a gap is left between the two. It is quite visible and wide enough to accommodate a business card in it. This must have been quite embarrassing for the well reputed company like Samsung
The company has said nothing on this defect and there's no official comment from Samsung about this mishap and no comment has appeared about the number of affected Galaxy Note 4 customers. Hopefully to protect their reputation the company would say something or try to compensate the affected users if they want the customer loyalty.
This SIM-free Galaxy Note 4 costs you approximately $920 In South Korea. They say it is the cheapest Note phablet so far. Pre-orders for the purchase of Galaxy Note 4 are already in progress in the US. The major carrier companies of the US AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to launch this tablet on October 14. Most probably Samsung would have removed the design defect by now.
