Huawei is going to finalize its replacement for Google services on its Android devices. Recent reports claim that Huawei mobile division will be moving forward with its services and replace Google’s services by Huawei mobile services. Huawei will launch its mobile services at the 1st Q of 2020. The Huawei wants to create alternatives to Google Play Games, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Play, YouTube, and the Google Play Store for Huawei devices. At the meeting, the CEO of Huawei and Honor India said ET “We have our own HMS and are trying to build a mobile ecosystem. Most of the key apps, such as navigation, payments, gaming, and messaging, will be ready by December end.” The CEO of Huawei and Honor (Charles Peng), also quoted, “We will create an end-to-end business model with developers, content and services providers. We will provide value to them.” In this meeting, the CEO hasn’t shared any overview about the Harmony OS, but he also confirmed that the new Honor smartphone will indeed arrive with Google services. On the other hand, a day ago, Huawei also confirmed that the upcoming P40 and P40 Pro will run Huawei mobile services, and these are coming at the end of March 2020.”
