Vivo has today officially unveiled a new budget-friendly iQOO U3x phone in China. The handset comes with highlighted features like a 90Hz refresh rate display, Qualcomm 5G chipset, a massive battery, fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and more. According to the company, the iQOO U3x will go on sale on April 1 in Ya Grey and Magic Blue colors.

The newly announced iQOO U3x budget phone flaunts a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display which offers a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. It also comes with a water-drop notch upfront which houses an 8MP selfie camera. The handset offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.61 percent. On the back panel, it has a square-shaped dual-camera setup which includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth shooter. For security, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also carries support for face unlock.

As for the software, the iQoo U3x runs iQOO 1.0 based on Android 11 OS. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480 instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset found in the predecessor iQOO U3. The SoC is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Last but not least, Vivo iQOO U3x packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
