Vivo recently announced its new smartphone called Vivo Z6, which comes with 5G support, Snapdragon 765G Chipset, and 48MP quad-camera setup. Now, the company is all set to launch another smartphone with 5G support pretty soon. The company has today (11-March) confirmed that the Vivo S6 5G smartphone is coming soon to Vivo’s home country China. Vivo has shared a poster to announce this, which also confirms support for 5G connectivity on the upcoming S6 phone. While Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo S6 5G is coming soon, the company has not yet revealed the exact launch date of the phone. However, the announcement from Vivo reveals the smartphone to go official in this month only.
As for the features, we expect the handset to come with support for dual-band 5G connectivity, including SA and NSA. It could come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, making it an upper mid-range smartphone. Furthermore, Vivo also announced that the company has launched its 6G research and development to better prepare for the obstacles caused by data explosion in the near future. According to the senior executive, “the company has set up a dedicated and specialized team in the early stages of 6G networking to demonstrate the wide applications of the new technology.”
