Vivo has today silently announced a new budget-centric smartphone known as the Vivo Y30G in the Chinese markets. The phone comes in three colors such as Obsidian Black, Dawn White, and Aqua Blue. The key highlights of the phone include an HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio Chipset, 18W fast charging support, and Android 11 OS.

The newly launched Vivo Y30G features a 6.51 IPS LCD display which comes with a dewdrop-notch and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The Vivo Y30G measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.41mm, and it weighs 191.4 grams. At the back, the device has a rectangular dual camera setup comprising of a 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) primary shooter and a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. There is also an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfie and video-calling purposes.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y30G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 chipset that is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. The device comes with the latest OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 OS. To keep its lights on, the Vivo Y30G draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging.
