Vivo has officially unveiled Vivo Y51s 5G mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market today (24-July). By design, the Vivo Y51s close to Vivo Y70s and recently launched iQOO U1 but having some minor changes when it comes to the internals. The Vivo Y51s features a 6.53-inches FHD+ display with a punch-hole for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Over at the back, the Vivo Y51s has a triple-camera array which consists of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 880 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Vivo Y51s is also able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. The handset packs a 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. Like other Vivo phones, it runs on the custom FuntouchOS 10.5 based on the Android 10 OS. There are three different color options such as Black, White, and Blue. Vivo Y51s costs 1,798 Yuan ($256) for its sole 6GB+128GB model.
