Chinese tech giant Vivo officially unveils its new smartphone – Vivo Y72 5G in Thailand. This device is the first Y-series smartphone in the global market that comes with 5G support. It comes in two colors such as Graphite Black and Dream Glow. The key highlights of the phone include a Full HD+ display, a 64MP triple rear camera setup, 18W fast charging support, and a Dimensity 700 Chipset.

The newly launched Vivo Y72 5G bestows a 6.58 inches Full HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 96 percent NTSC color gamut, 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, and a teardrop notch for a 16MP selfie shooter. The handset draws power from the Dimensity 700 processor with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. For security, the Y72 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also carries support for face unlock.

Moreover, Vivo Y72 5G runs FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS. The rear camera setup of the phone includes a 64MP main cam, an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro shooter with a 4cm focal length. It has photography features like EIS, eye autofocus, and super night mode. Finally, the handset packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
