Xiaomi world’s 5th largest Smartphone makers is ready to launch their most awaited Xiaomi Mi 5 is ready to launch in their official event which will be held on 19th October 2015 in China. Recently company has sent invitations to the invitees. The interesting thing about the invitation is that it carries the slogan ‘Next generation of New Conference.’ It is also expected to see Xiaomi Mi Band 2 along with Mi 5.
According to the previously leaked information it is expected that the new Android Phone comes with Snapdragon 820 Octa Core processor but the chipset is not ready to hit the market with Smartphone and now the Xiaomi latest arrival will serve with MediaTek Helio X20 chipset.
This new MediaTrek HelioX20 is the modest version of previous Helio X10 chipset which was placed in HTC ONE M9 Plus, Meizu MX5 and some others. Besides this MediaTek chipset, the new mobile phone comes with 5.2 inches QHD AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and has 4 GB RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB internal memory. The device has 16 MP rear and 8MP frontfacing camera and is energized with the 3030mAh battery and the mobile phone is secured with the fingerprint scanner.
This MediaTek chipset version of this Android Smartphone will carry $316 price tag. Later the company has plan to launch Snapdragon 820 version of Xiaomi Mi5 but it is not possible before 2016. So now users have to welcome the new member of Xiaomi with MediaTek chipset and wait for Snapdragon version.
