Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro smartphones next month. The vanilla Black Shark 4 with model number PRS-A0 and the codename “penrose” recently appeared on the Google Play Console. The listing revealed some of its key specifications and an image of the front panel. The same smartphone has now received certification from TENAA (the telecom regulatory body of China). The TENAA listing of the Black Shark PRS-A0 smartphone has no details on its specifications. It only contains the images of the gaming phone.

The front panel image of the Black Shark 4 (PRS-A0) smartphone shows that it will have a flat display with a top-centered punch-hole. The volume rockers are on the left edge of the device, and its right side has shoulder buttons for gaming. On the back panel, the phone seems to have a horizontal camera module, which will include three sensors and an LED flash. Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the three flagship gaming smartphones – Black Shark 3, Black Shark 3 Pro, and Black Shark 3S. All of them came with AMOLED screens and under-display fingerprint sensors. However, the upcoming Black Shark 4 will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, suggesting that it could be equipped with an LCD panel.
