Xiaomi Mi 10S brings SDM 870 SoC and 6.67-inch display

As scheduled, Xiaomi officially unveiled a new Mi 10S 5G phone in China. It arrives as the newest addition to the Mi 10 series that launched last year. The phone comes with a punch-hole display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a quad-camera setup, Snapdragon SoC, 33W quick charging, and more. Its color variants are black, blue, and white. The smartphone is now up for pre-orders, and it will go on sale from March 12 in China.

Xiaomi Mi 10S 5G flaunts a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels), Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1120nits brightness, a punch-hole, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Chipset coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB storage (UFS 3.0). For photos and videos, the phone has a quad-rear camera setup at the back, which houses a 108MP primary sensor with OIS and f/1.69 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

On the front side, there is a 20MP shooter for selfies and video chats. Software-wise, the Mi 10S runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Harmon Kardon speakers, and VC liquid cooling for heat dissipation. Xiaomi Mi 10S has a 4,780mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
