Xiaomi Mi 5 faces unexpected Delay and will not reveal in 19th October Event

Before days Xiaomi posted their invitation teaser of their official event which is held on 19th October in their Weibo account and we was thinking the company might launch Xiaomi Mi5 in this official event but unfortunately Xiaomi Mi 5 faces unexpected delay and will not be unveiled in upcoming media event.


Recently Xiaomi’s co-founder said that they don’t have the plan to announced Xiaomi Mi 5 in the event. One factor of this unexpected delay in release of this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which needs more work and need to resolve the overheating issue first and the other reason is the company entering in manufacturing of video games and now they are concentrating on it. But on the contrary, some published reports suggest that the scheduled version of the device is the feature with MediaTek MT6797 chipset paired with Deca Core processor. The company official further said that they also not going to announce Xiaomi Mi Note 2 in an event.


Just for readers remembrance the Mi 5 will come in 5.2 inches Quad HD AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and server with 4 GB RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB internal memory. The device has 16 MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera and energized with the 3030mAh battery and the mobile phone is secured with the fingerprint scanner.

It is further expected that the MediaTek chipset version of this Android Smartphone will be sold at the price of $316. Well, unfortunately, users need to wait more till next official confirmation about this device. Stay tuned for more updates.
