The Chinese phone maker Xiaomi unveiled two devices at an event in Beijing today. New introducing device's names are Xiamo Mi 9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha. Surprisingly, Xiaomi also released a 5G variant of Mi 9 Pro.
The Mi 9 Pro 5G comes powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC for smooth and faster performance. The design of Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is similar to the previous version “Mi 9 that was released in February this year. The front and rear side of this phone are protected by Glass panels (Gorilla Glass 5) with a metallic frame. It arrives with a 6.39” full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and an Under-screen fingerprint scanner. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage. There is no option for a microSD card slot. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G powered by 4,000 mAh battery capacity that can support up to 40W quick charging (takes 48 minutes to fully charged) and 30W wireless charging. It has vapor chamber liquid cooling technology to reduce internal temperature. The camera setup of Mi 9 Pro 5G is also the same as Mi 9. It has triple rear cameras which include a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary shooter, a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor for photography. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G runs MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie.

Xiaomi unveiled another flagship Smartphone known as Mi Mix Alpha in the Mix series. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha comes as the world’s first Smartphone with a wrap-around display. It has a tiny vertical strip on the backside that houses triple cameras which includes a 108MP primary shooter, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x Optical Zoom and a 20MP ultra-wide lens with 117-degree field of view. This setup supports 1.5cm macro photography. You can use a triple camera setup for selfie experience by flip the Smartphone because the Mi Mix Alpha doesn’t have a front cam. It is powered by SDM 855+ chipset and paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. It packs 4050 mAh battery capacity with 40W fast charging support. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha arrives with pressure-sensitive sides to the replacement of physical buttons (similar Huawei Mate 30).
