Recently, we have received a leaked prototype image of the next-gen flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9. The render claims Triple Cameras on the back of Mi 9. It showed how the camera setup aligned vertically. A Fingerprint Scanner is also there below optics. However, the earlier rumors suggest the Mi 9 will have In-Display FR. It is possible the Mi smartphone will get Dual Fingerprint Sensors, one on the front and the other at the back. Before this, Huawei had done the same thing with Mate 20 RS having Dual FRs on both front and rear sides.
According to another report, the CEO of Xiaomi has also been captured in an image testing the Mi 9’s Triple Camera technology. Aside from this, rumors are hinting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset to empower Mi 9 high-end device. The Android 9.0 (Pie) will be running under pre-installed MIUI 11, that’s somewhat imminent user interface by Xiaomi Mobile.
As per specs listing, we expect the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be a water-drop style notched smartphone. It will have FHD+ Display, 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage, and a long-life battery.
5G gets popularity soon, but we don’t sure the Mi 9 will support the 5G connectivity or not.
What are the Release Date and Expected Price of Mi 9?
Xiaomi has not stated anything about this, but the rumors and reports are Xiaomi will introduce the Mi 9 at MWC19. The rumored Xiaomi Mi 9 SE could also launch at the same time.
As we all know the Chinese smartphones are not much pricey. Like the other Mi smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Price could be about $500, as the predecessor Mi 8 had priced at $450.
