Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series confirmed to launch in March

Xiaomi today announced that it will launch the much-awaited Redmi Note 10 series in early March 2021. The new Redmi phone series will be the successor to the Redmi Note 9 lineup. It is speculated that Xiaomi may initially unveil two devices – Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro in the series, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Redmi Note 10S will be launched later. The Redmi Note 10 series is confirmed to come with a significant camera upgrade and high refresh rate.

Xiaomi has created a microsite to highlight the March launch of the Redmi Note 10 series. The company also shared a video teaser that hints at a bigger primary camera on the new Redmi phones over the Redmi Note 9 devices. Unfortunately, there is no information about the key specs of the phones.

While official information is currently scarce, recent rumors and leaks have given us a good starting point. The Redmi Note 10 Pro is expected to have a 120Hz IPS LCD with support for MEMC tech and a quad-camera setup at the back. It may also come with Qualcomm SM7150 Platform (Snapdragon 732G) and a 5,050mAh battery. Last month, the tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the standard Redmi Note 10 will come in two variants: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB, while the Redmi Note Pro will be offered in three variants: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB.
