Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will go on Open Sale on 27 April in India

Chinese mobile maker Xiaomi declared that its Redmi Note 3 handset will go on sale in India and it will be available for purchase without any registration. Xiaomi India’s unit made the announcement that the open sale will begin on 27 April at 2PM.

The tweet also includes a mi.com/in link which suggests that open sale will only be handled on Xiaomi's India website. As for the specifications, it features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution. The Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650, clocked at Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 and Adreno 510. In the camera segment, the smartphone has a 16 MP with f/2.0, dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The primary camera supports Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, and panorama features and it can record 1080p@30fps videos. The Redmi Note 3 has a 5 MP camera as well with f/2.0 feature.


It offers multiple connectivity options such as dual-band, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, LE, and GPS. There is a 4000 mAh non-removable battery that keeps the mobile on. The mobile comes in Silver, Gold, and Gray color options. The Dual Stand by mobile runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with two memory options such as 2GB RAM/16GB native storage and 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage. Obviously both models have different price such as former comes with ($150) price tag and later is available in ($180).


Last month the device was released in India and it was only available for purchase through flash sales but this time company changed strategy of sale and the smaortphone will be available via open sale.
