Xperia Z will be the test case for Android 5.0 Lollipop Beta

The renowned smartphone manufacturer, Sony is working on new project. It is planning to update Sony Xperia Z lines with Android 5.0 and that too in a short time. It has been confirmed by the company that Google has provided AOSP to Sony for beta testing of Android 5.0 on its Xperia Z Series.

Presently Sony is running the received AOSP Android 5.0 on its smartphones Xperia Z1, Z1 and Z3. This company, Sony, has further declared its coalition with Swedish carrier 3 for testing of 3 Beta program. Presently the company is offering to its users to try Android 5.0 lollipop on Xperia phones before they launch it for all. The purpose of this restriction of Xperia alone is to get the feedback on the test of the latest operating system before it is adopted all over.

Google has recently given the source code of Android 5.0 Lollipop to AOSP only a week before. It was seen in a blog that company was quite enthusiastic about updating Xperia Z series with the new operating system Android 5.0 Lollipop in the beginning of next year. The new operating system is full of features and has a UI that is more responsive, makes the device secure, new features to control notifications and overall better performance.

The basic aim of this exercise is to gather quick feed back on the new operating system from the users how they feel about it. It is a wise step to find out the exact saturation before launching it commercially next year.
