ZTE officially launches Axon 30 Ultra and Axon 30 Pro with SD 888 SoC

As scheduled, ZTE has officially launched the all-new Axon 30 flagship series, which includes the likes of the Axon 30 Pro and Axon 30 Ultra. Both the devices, despite having similarities, have noticeable differences in battery, camera, and display. As for availability, the devices will go on sale at 10 AM local time on April 19 in China.

The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra arrives in these colors- black, blue, white, and coffee. The Axon 30 Pro, on the other hand, has two colors- Obsidian Black and Misty Rain Blue. The Axon 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch AMOLED subtly curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate. This display has an FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ certification, 95% screen-body ratio, 10-bit colors, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and has a single punch-hole at the center. The Axon 30 Pro has similar display specs, but it is a flat display and has a 93% screen-body ratio, and 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Both phones feature Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Axon 30 Ultra has quad-cameras with Trinity Triple 64MP cameras. You get a 64MP f/1.6 Sony IMX686 sensor with OIS, a 64MP ultrawide with 120-degree FOV, and a 64MP f/1.9 superhuman camera. Along with this, there is an auxiliary 8MP periscope lens with 5X optical zoom. The Axon 30 Pro version also has a quad-camera setup, but it has a 64MP Sony IMX682 main lens, 64MP ultrawide with 120-degree FOV, 5MP 3cm macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a 4,600mAh battery with 66W wired charging. The Axon 30 Pro has a 4,200mAh battery with 55W charging support.
