ZUK Z2 Pro with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 820 is Official for $420

ZUK is subsidiary of Lenovo, today the company unveiled most rumored device Z2 Pro. The mobile seems like a subsequent model rather than descendant of the existing smartphone Zuk Z1 which was launched at an event in China.

A week ago a teaser informed us that ZUK will unveil its ZUK Z2 Pro smartphone on 21 April. Finally today the company unveiled its device and the mobile features a smaller 5.2-inch AMOLED display; Of course the smartphone offers better resolution than its predecessor, it is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. The ZUK Z2 Pro has a 13MP ISOCELL rear camera with 1.34μm pixels, phase detection autofocus; F/1.8 aperture the camera can record 4K video as well. 


The mobile has a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and after that another version of the device will also be launched which will have a 4 GB of RAM and 64GB native storage. There is an 8MP selfie snapper with bright f/2.0 lens, and 1.4μm pixels. The mobile has a fingerprint sensor on the home button and it supports UV sensor, altimeter, heart rate, and many other sensors. 


The company says that its smartphone ZUK Pro 2 supports 23 types of cellular networks and supports Wi-Fi ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE and VoLTE too.  It measures 145.4 x 70.5 x 7.5mm and weighs 145g and it comes with USB Type-C, proper USB 3.1 too. The smartphone runs Android Marshmallow and equipped with 3100 mAh battery which keeps the device on. The model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will go on sale tomorrow in China. It carries a CNY 2,699 or approximately $420 price tag. The other variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage will hit market on 10 May. Obviously the price of the device will be low.
