Design and Display

It has well thought designed and curvatures are well worked out. Its look pretty good while holding it in hand and using it with style. Considering the size of the display it is a big size handset having 5 inches large display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions for given the best display quality to the users. The handset has a Super LCD3 instead of the simple LCD screen. It is capacitive touch screen with easy commands and convenient in handling. The handset measures 146.4 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm dimension having 145 grams weight which is quite light and reasonable as compared to the HTC ONE M8. HTC ONE M8 weighs 160 Grams which is quite heavy and cannot be carried  easily. The major difference between the two is the E8 comes in plastic body instead of metal. The E8 made up with super fine plastic having the variety of colors as plastic emulsion. The emulsion colors give the elegant and stylish look to the handset.

Software And User Interface

It runs  Android 4.4.2 KITKAT as operating system. This is the most common operating system and most of the handsets come with this operating system. This is the user friendly software which provides the easy interface to the users and everyone can use this operating system easily. The software runs easily in the high configured handset as well as in the mid configuration  handsets and consume the minimum power while running and starting the interface. The software is capable of  running all available applications in the handset easily and efficiently and users enjoy using it.

Processor And memory.

The HTC E8 is equipped with 2.5 GHz Quad core Krait 400 Processor with the combination of Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 with the set of Adreno 330 GPU ( Graphic Processing Unit). It is provided with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory extendable up to 128GB via microSD card. This is a reasonable configuration to cater for all the requirements of the smartphone. If we look at HTC ONE M8 other hardware specifications are same except the processor. HTC ONE M8  has a 2.3 GHz processor which is bit slower in the working as compared to HTC E8, 2.5 GHz.

Camera

HTC E8 is fitted with 13 Mega Pixels rear camera and 5 Mega Pixels secondary for video calling.  13 mega pixel rear camera has a 4128 x 3096 pixels resolution which provides the super fine quality to  the images in true colors. The rear camera is equipped with autofocus and  LED flash light for capturing prefect images of the moving objects in dim lights as well. The E8 has a better camera than the HTC ONE M8 there is no doubt that the HTC ONE M8 has a dual camera but the camera is low in configuration. As we stated above HTC E8 has a 13 mega pixels rear camera, HTC ONE M8 has a dual but only 4 mega pixel and when we see the secondary camera HTC E8 equipped with 5 mega pixels and HTC ONE M8 has only 2.1 mega pixel camera in this account we can say HTC E8 has a better and efficient camera instead of HTC ONE M8.

Battery

The handset is energized by Li-Po 2600 mAh battery which is Non-removable provides the Stand-by Up to 271 hours in 2G and 496 hours in 3G , Talk time up to 14 hours in 2G and  up to 20 hours in 3G networks which is quite balanced and good for the users. There is no difference in both handsets in the account of battery. The both handsets have a common negative point, the battery is non removable and at this point users think before buying this handset because in case of damage to the battery the handset needs to be replaced completely instead of battery alone.
