We have come up with two most demanded smartphones in the mobile market, Huawei Honor 10 Lite, and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both are mid-range smartphones. Both the handsets have similar specs, but different design, performance, and price.

6.21in Vs 6.26in Display

Huawei Honor 10 Lite comes with a 6.21inches IPS LCD Display, 1080x2340 pixels resolution, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In rival, the Mi 8 Lite has 6.26inches LCD Display, 19:9 viewing aspect and 1080x2280 pixels resolution. That’s mean Honor 10 Lite is perfect big and bright for watching and browsing. Both the handsets offer good viewing angles and similar color saturation and contrast ratio.

The Huawei and Xiaomi gadgets give a completely different look to each other. The Honor 10 Lite shows a trivial U-shaped notch whereas the Mi 8 Lite gets an apparent Notch Bar on top front. The Honor 10 Lite and Mi 8 Lite both are selfie-centric smartphones have the same 24MP resolution for the front camera, the f/2.0 apertures and 0.9µm sized shutters. They offer Full HD video calling experience and AI Beauty pictures with special selfie effects. The Honor 10 Lite supports AI Recognition to identify gender and objects in your images. The Mi 8 Lite doesn’t allow AI recognition but it supports Auto-HDR (that is what not available in honor device).

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is better for overall photography than the Honor 10 Lite. The Huawei smartphone has Dual 13MP plus 2MP Rear Cameras, the first one is a wide-angle lens having f/1.8 aperture and the secondary is a depth sensor. On the other side, the Xiaomi device has EIS supported Dual 12MP plus 5MP Back Optics; the first lens measure f/1.9 aperture and the secondary depth sensor has an f/2.0 aperture. With AI camera of Mi 8 Lite, you can create Full HD images and up to 2160p videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 120fps, 60fps and gyro 30fps. On the other hand, the Honor 10 Lite has just to offer good-looking photos and FHD video shooting at only 30fps.

The Honor device is good for low-light shots, but the Mi phone is better for excellent depth detailed day and night pictures.

Kirin 710 Vs Snapdragon 660

If you love the smooth performance, then you may choose Mi 8 Lite powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, Octa-core 1.8GHz processor and Adreno 512 GPU. However, the Honor 10 Lite packs inside Kirin 710 SoC, Octa-core 1.7GHz processor, and Mali-G51 Mp4 GPU.

The reason behind is a 12nm CPU of the honor device which saves 30% power consumption than a 14nm CPU in Mi phone. Thus, the Honor 10 Lite got 88 hours of endurance rating whereas the Mi 8 Lite gives 76 hours of lifetime.

Unfortunately, the Honor smartphone doesn’t support Fast Charging, therefore, it takes about one and half hour to recharge fully. Conversely, the Mi 8 Lite allows 18W Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging and recharges 100% life within 1 hour. Furthermore, the Mi 8 Lite has USB Type C for reversible charging connection; however, the Honor 10 Lite comes with a simple micro USB, not a reversible connector.
