Introduction

We all are familiar with LG G Watch. This is the first start for LG in the making of smartwatch. LG also follows the footsteps of Samsung and reveal their first Android based smartwatch with complete Android based operating system.

LG presents their smartwatch during the Google I/O. The smartwatch is available for pre order and the product will be in the markets from 27^th July. Users can place the order via Google Play Google official store.

LG made the smartwatch with aluminum body and fix all the appealing features in the small frame. The smartwatch is square in shape which provides the accuracy to the watch and saves the watch form extra space consumption.

 Design And Display

LG G Watch has a square design aluminum based smartwatch with no extra space. The LG G Watch has a standard 22mm wide watch belt. If you think the built is not suitable for you, can change the belt according to your fashion taste.

If we talk about the display, the LG G Watch has a 1.65-inch IPS LCD display with 280x280 pixels resolutions. LG affirmed it was able to achieve better efficiencies with this panel.  The display of the watch is “always on,” but it will dim itself after sometime in “ambient” mode when watch detects that the display is not in use at the current moment.

Interface

The interface is incontrovertibly Android. The smartwatch is feature with Google Now card interface, which is easy to use and switch the buttons easily. The voice detection feature performs a limited tasks and functionality on the display units while users wearing the wearable.

Processor and memory

Same as Samsung the LG G Watch is also powered with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. According to the processor the performance of the smartwatch is quite satisfactory to handle the small tasks. The smartwatch is powered with 512MB RAM and 4GB in built memory, which is enough to keep the records of the daily performed tasks.

Battery

Samsung Gear Live is equipped with 300 mAh battery which gives the 7 days backup time to the users. LG takes the lead in this account LG G watch is powered with 400 mAh battery which gives the 8 days backup time to the users. The battery is well enough for this small piece of technology.

Color, Price and Release date

LG G watch is available in two colors Jet Black and White. The smartwatch looks equally good in both colors. The company shows the demo of watches during the I/O and the unit is already in the hands of developers now and will hit the markets on 27^th July onwards. The company has fixed the price $200 for this smartwatch which is quite reasonable according to the specifications.
