Oppo is of the recent manufacturers of smartphone. This is China based company. Last year Oppo announced the handset named “Oppo Find 5” and “Oppo N1”. Oppo N1 Mini is the latest and compact version of Oppo N1. The handset has many good features. Last year the predecessor generated the good share for the company from the markets and made the users happy to give them a quality product; now it is the turn of newly launched Oppo N1 Mini. Appearance of the product gives the first impression and they are live of the idea in making their products beautiful and presentable. They have put in this philosophy in designing Oppo N1 Mini. The measurements are ideal worked out to contain the pack of technology in side. It measures 148.4 x 72.2 x 9.2 mm which is quite proportionate and suitable for the machine inside. It weighs 150 grams; not much of a burden to carry in the hand. Part of the appearance is display if the handset. It has IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, 5 inches in size with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Combination of all this has resulted in this artistic creation.
Oppo N1 Mini is compact version of the original therefore is no less in technical configuration. It is based on Android operating system 4.3 Jelly Bean which is presently one of the most used and useful operating systems. The versatility of this operating system is well known and needs no further dilation. With this operating system it has equally good user interface. Mere appearance serves no purpose unless useful, therefore the users interface is equally well planned and utility oriented. The interface is user friendly and easy to use to make the best of the handset.
Oppo N1 Mini is powered with Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 processor with chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and Adreno 305 GPU. The configuration of CPU and GPU is well balanced for the speed and desired results. Basically processor is an important link between the operating system and performance of the device and in this case we find nothing lacking.
Oppo N1 Mini has powerful 2 GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory. Apparently this volume of memory is good enough for a mobile phone and users can easily perform multi task and download and run the large games file. But there is a drawback present with the handset. The in- built memory is not extendable externally because there is no card slot found in the handset and users get disappointed on the account of increasing the memory.
Oppo N1 Mini is equipped with 13 mega pixel rear and 13 mega pixel front facing camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels density, autofocus, LED flash, rotating lens, geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. Users can easily take the images from any angle by rotating the camera lens. The pixel density of the camera is well enough to give the good result of images. Users don’t need to put the extra efforts to focus the image position the already built-in feature of auto focus activates and adjusts the position of the image.
The handset is energized with Li-Ion 2140 mAh battery. There is no information available that handset has a removable battery or non removable battery. Backup time of the battery is also not known yet but it is expected that the battery gives well enough stand by and talk time to the users.
Oppo N1 Mini is available in white color only. The handset looks pretty in this color. Company fixes $435 price for this mini handset. By price the handset stands in a mid range category. The status of the handset is available in Malaysian and Indian markets. As per liking of the users the handset gets 3.53 out of 5 stars. However the rating is not so high but users expect that the handset gives the sufficient performance and deserves the average rating according to the specifications and price.
