 Samsung always tries to give the best to the users and this is the reason mostly people love to use the Samsung products. Samsung builds their trust among the users with quality. Time to time Samsung reveals the tablets and the smartphones with the different hardware and software combinations and according to the configuration the company fixes the price of the revealed products. Here we have a Galaxy W 7 inches tablet for the discussion.  The Galaxy W is also known as Galaxy W SM-T255, the latest tablet announced by the Samsung. Let us see in detail what Samsung combines in this new tablet. Hope fully the table has a good software and hardware combination as always we get from the Samsung. However the price of this tablet is still under the cover but it is expected after looking the hardware configuration that the tablet is going to be the mid range tablet.

Software and User Interface

 Recently Samsung launches the tablets and the smartphone with the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat and mostly Samsung combines their own design TouchWiz user interface with Android Operating System. But in the case of Galaxy W Samsung uses the Android 4.4.3 Jelly Bean, a bit older version of Android Operating system. What is the reason behind the usage of older version? Only the company has the answer of this mystery, other interesting thing Samsung does not combine their own designed TouchWiz interface. The tablet runs only Android Jelly Bean interface. Although the interface is not complicated in use and consumes low power for running the windows and to run the applications but still the interface does not support the latest in built applications. Anyway this is supposed to be the mid range device so the users do not have any objection with the interface. The users only have a concern that the interface and operating system run perfectly and give them a trouble free environment and in this aspect the tablet is well enough and good for the economical usage.

The slate is embedded with 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor. The processor is not super fast as Octa core but it is enough for the working and provides the sufficient speed to the users. Company offers 1.5 GB RAM, the ram is also less in capacity as compared to the other Samsung devices but is not too much low in capacity; users can easily perform multi tasks in limit without facing any hassle. The handset has a 16 GB on board memory which is sufficient for downloading large games, books and movies as well. Samsung gives the powerful battery with their handset and tablets. Galaxy W is powered with Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery. However the standby time of the battery is still not known but the battery provides the 21 hours talk time in 2G and 3G both networks. Talkative person like the battery with this long talk time. The other main benefit is the battery is non removable. If users lose the power of the tablet while using and battery does not allow them to work, the users have the option, they are able to remove the battery and replace it from the new one and continue their work without any problem. Removable battery is convenient rather than the non removable.

Price and Users Expectation

The tablet is still not available anywhere and users are keenly waiting to have this tablet as soon as possible. Specifications make the tablet a mid range tablet, but users expect more from this tablet because they have a built in trust in Samsung. As users expect the tablet is good in working and facilitates them completely by providing a complete and easy working interface. The other main issue is price. The price of this tablet is still unknown but users expect that the tablet should not be sold in higher price and must be in the range of normal users who don’t want to spend an accumulation of money in tablets or in smartphones.
