Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in Two Variants and Viv Al assistant

A new render from China claims that the next Samsung Galaxy S8 device will hit the market with two variants. One variant will have 5.1 inch curved Super AMOLED display and the second one will come with 5.5 inch UHD 4K display. The model with bigger screen will feature a dual camera setup, one 16MP and the other will be 8MP.

The latest rumor is a Weibo Post, it states that the Galaxy S8 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 which will be built by using 10nm technology. Some variants will be powered by Samsung homemade Exynos 8895 chips as well. However, which variant will be available internationally, it’s not confirmed yet.


The render also reveals that the next Galaxy S model will have a Viv Al assistant in replacement of S Voice. The Viv Al assistant is released by Siri creators which Samsung will use in its device.


According to a teaser, Galaxy S8 will be launched at an event on February 26 in Barcelona. The device is expected to come with plenty of noticeable features and improvements. The smartphone will also come with a different design; it could be all glass with a fingerprint sensing display.


Moreover, Samsung decides to discontinue Galaxy Note 7 from its lineup after multiple cases of battery explosion. Analysts say that the brand could be at risk after the failure of the phablet and share value of the company is also decreased.
