The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip isn’t the brand’s proper flagship for the year, but it’s definitely Samsung’s most exciting foldable yet and the first one anyone should consider buying. Samsung has kicked off the rollout of a new software update for its clamshell foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip. Initially, Samsung has rolled out this latest update in the USA, and other regions are expected to get in the near future. The update has build number F700U1UEU1ATBC and comes bundled with the March security patch, which Samsung has also released for other flagships, including the Galaxy S20Galaxy S10, and Galaxy Note 10. In the changelog for the Galaxy Z Flip’s new update, we can see some performance upgrades and some notable camera enhancements. Samsung says that it has improved camera quality when using its “Single Take” camera mode — something that was added to the Flip in its first update — as well as improving the overall stability of the camera on this device. The new update which takes 400 MB data can be downloaded from the Settings » Software update menu on the phone. The Galaxy Z Flip is a Samsung’s second clamshell foldable phone which has a 6.7 inch Dynamic AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Chipset. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3,300 mAh battery that supports fast charging as well as wireless charging.
