It’s been a long when we meet the Pocophone F1, the cheapest flagship phone on the earth with Snapdragon 800 series chipset, priced at only $300. Since then, Poco F2 as a successor had been titled to many rumors and reports, but there was no sign of launch. Today, a Poco X2 knocks the doors of Geekbench, surprisingly. According to the benchmark, Poco X2 has Qualcomm SD 730G SoC, 1.8GHz processor, and 8GB RAM. Not only that, it is running Android 10 OS. The newer Pocophone received 547 single-core and 1767 multi-core scores by Geekbench 5.1.0.

If the SD730G is going to be the future of Poco X2, it might not be the cheapest flagship. Instead, it could be the cheapest 5G smartphone in the world as everyone is looking for an affordable 5G device to experience new generation connectivity.

Some other rumors are Xiaomi had applied for the ‘Poco F2’ trademark. Therefore, it is said the Poco X2 could be a codenamed Pocophone F2. Also, Poco X2 may be Poco F2 in some regions such as India. Unfortunately, there is no word on the Poco X2 release date or price. We expect Xiaomi must launch a Pocophone this year, 2020.
