Asus ROG Phone 3 will announce in Q3 of 2020 with SDM 865 Plus

According to the latest report, Asus is planning to unveil its next-generation gaming smartphone in the third quarter of 2020. The ROG Phone 3 is also confirmed to be fueled by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 865 SoC series.

Gaming handsets have attracted a lot of consumers across the globe, and most of the OEMs have started offering at least one powerful gaming smartphone with best-in-class specifications. According to the source, the ROG Phone 3 will have Snapdragon 865 Plus Chipset because the third quarter is the same time frame when Qualcomm will launch the Plus models of its flagship processor. The device will also be one of the first devices to feature the new flagship processor if it does ship with the higher clocked variant. Based on the rumors, the ROG Phone 3 is expected to have a 6.6 inch SUPER AMOLED display, a 6,000 mAh massive battery, triple rear camera setup, and dual-mode 5G support.
