P series of Huawei is legend and company not only focusing on putting everything in the device, but they also concentrate upon the design and work hard to finalize the features for the whole P series of Smartphone. P8 is the live example in front of us. Huawei claimed at the time of launched of P8 that they designed the future and no doubt that the company claim is right and they broke the leather bound handsets tradition and presented the Huawei P8 in the classic design. The device comes in elegant metal unibody and measures only 6.4 mm in thickness and has 144 grams weight. Its remarkable thin bezel gives bezels less appearance to the device.
The device is featured with 5.2 inches full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution which gives more bright, vivid and sharp display accuracy to the users in all type of light conditions. The Full HD display is prior than QHD display which is used in Galaxy S6.
OS, Processor & Memory
P8 is the Android Smartphone and runs lollipop version of OS. The Smartphone is packed with HiSilicon Kirin 930 chipset paired with an octa-core processor and Mali T628 GPU. It also contained 3 GB RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB internal memory which can be expended externally up to 128 GB via a microSD card. With this combination, P8 provides an incredible and effortless performance to the users.
Though this is not the camera-centric device and has ordinary 13 MP rear and 8 MP front-facing camera with optical image stabilization, auto focus and dual LED which gives the better image quality to the users in all light conditions.
As we mentioned above this Android Phone has metal unibody so it is energized with Non-removable Li-Po 2680 mAh battery which seems blunder in this device and there is no rapid charging feature which is the upper edge in same era Smartphone like Galaxy S6. According to the benchmark site the P8 provides 9:25 hours backup on video playing, 13:32 hours on Web Browsing and 13:50 hours talk time on 3G network. Because of lacking rapid charging the device required 3:41 hours to be charged fully.
The handset is available in the price of $500 which is the cost of 16 GB version and the 64 GB version is available against the price of $550 which is not the cost for this stylish mobile phone.
Pros & Cons
Creative camera, classic and elegant design, reasonable price, and enough battery life are good features in P8 and the congested user interface and low video recording result are the bad points found in Huawei P8.
