Earlier this year, Samsung had launched a foldable smartphone named Galaxy Fold. The device used to equip all the latest and advanced technology but it failed to remove objections about its foldable phone that is full of display issues. On the Samsung forum page, there are many complaints for design, build quality and screen etc. Samsung is unable for all fixes, so it decided to make a new foldable device which will be better in design and manufacturing. The upcoming foldable smartphone may debut next year, 2020.

The Verge revealed info about a new foldable phone patent from Samsung. The patent clearly shows Samsung is working on a Rollable Display Phone. The device will facilitate users with dual display but they slide on one another like a flip phone not flexible. There is a large screen and no physical QWERTY keypad so you can say it a modify version of Blackberry Priv.

Though the patent is hard to believe, we may see a familiar phone in future. LG has already announced it is bringing such a display later in 2019. Corning has also informed they are manufacturing such a glass for dual rollable displays.

Let’s have short intro of Galaxy Fold. The Samsung’s first foldable technology looks like a book of 2x AMOLED Displays which can be folded or unfolded as per desire for a smartphone or a tablet. The Galaxy Fold offers 3-way multitasking, and armed with 6-Cameras for amazing photography on top flagship line. It is not ready to leave the battle ring for performance as with Snapdragon 855 and a highly capable RAM like the other Galaxy S10 family.
