HTC desire 820 is the first Octa Core mobile phone of the company and takes the place during the IFA fair Berlin. This is the mid range handset and the modest version of previously launched Desire 816 and available in competitive price of $400 in plenty of colors. The handset has the plastic body with the slightly rounded edges and glossy make and measures 7.7mm by dimension and has 155 grams weight. It has 5.5 inches display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. This is the typical Android based handset and runs KitKat version and embedded with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor combined with Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 system on chip and Adreno 405 GPU and has 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB on board memory which can be further extended up to 128 GB externally.
HTC Desire 820 has 13 mega pixel rear and 8 mega pixel front facing camera and energized with Non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery which gives 424 hours stand by time to the device on both 2G and 3G networks and 22 hours 24 mints talk time on both 2G and 3G networks. There is no doubt the handset is packed with many good features and available in a very reasonable price but the battery of the handset is non removable which is the weak point and users think over it before buying the handset.
