Gone are the days of Sony Xperia z series, Sony has officially launched its Xperia X series with a bang. Xperia compact series is arguably one of the best products that the company has ever produced. It’s a unique combination of high end features pact in compact body – a delight for people who appreciate smaller screens. Sony Xperia X is a futuristic smartphone that will target long neglected consumers who aren’t much fan of larger smartphones.
Similar to its bigger cousin, the Xperia XZ, the edges has been rounded off from edges in Xperia X compact – making it much easier to hold in hand. Bottom of the Xperia X compact comes with a USB-C port. USB –C port enable two way charging and has been used in Galaxy S7 series. However, this is the first time Sony has integrated this technology in its smartphones.
A fingerprint sensor is present at the side of the smartphone. Having fingerprint sensor at the side simplify its use when holding the phone in hand, however, it has proven to be a little awkward to use sensor when phone is lying down.
The smartphone is powered by powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, hexa-core processor with 3 GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Xperia X compact comes with micro-SD card slot up to 256GB. 23 MP rear and 5 MP front camera takes some great shot even at low lightings. Xperia X compact runs on Marshmallow 6.0 OS and has a 2,700mAh battery.
