Sony is preparing for the launch of upcoming mid-range smartphone, The Xperia XA3. It is said to be the first handset of Xperia XA series which will feature an 18:9 aspects ratio. The smartphone is rumored to get bigger 5.9inches display, FHD+ resolution, the latest Android 9.0 Pie, dual 23MP + 5MP rear cameras, 8MP front camera, Snapdragon 660 chipset, Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64 GB Memory and 3600mAh battery. It will also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Launch Date and Expected Price
Sony has not yet revealed the release date of Sony Xperia XA3, but the rumours are hinting that the Xperia XA3 would be launched in October or November 2018. If it wouldn't happen, the Japanese brand Sony will launch the Xperia XA3 at CES 2019, which will start on January 8 and end on January 11. The Xperia XA3 Ultra is also rumored to launch alongside it.
Sony Xperia XA2 was priced at $300 so we are expecting that the successor Xperia XA3 Price will be around $400. The preorders for the smartphone will start just after the announcement; however, the shipment will start in February.
Design, Display and Software
Recently, we received some rendered images of Sony Xperia XA3 which are revealing the design of smartphone. The renders are showing the large display with much reduced bezels with a selfie camera on top, an ear piece, 18 by 9 aspect ratio and 2.5d Arc design. There are horizontally-oriented dual cameras with dual tone LED flash on the back. Unlike the previous smartphone, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the right side of the device rather than back. The Xperia XA3 is said to have metal unibody covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on both front and rear. It may be ip6x rated to be a Splash resistant.
Sony Xperia XA3 will have a 5.9 inches screen, IPS LCD display, 1080x2160 pixels resolution, and 409 PPI density. The handset will run the most up-to-date Android operating system, The Android 9.0 Pie.
Camera
It is said that Sony Xperia XA3 will have a Dual Rear Camera setup of 23MP (f/2.0) + 5MP. It will let you record amazing photographs and 4K videos as well as FHD ones. The device will support AI beauty tech to insert natural beauty effects. On the front, you will find an 8MP Selfie Camera (f/2.4). It may allow Facial Unlock.
Hardware and Connectivity
Rumors are saying that the Sony Xperia XA3 would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It will have 2.0GHz Octa-core processor, Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB RAM to deliver you a better gaming experience. It is said to get 64 gigs of internal storage to save user’s personal data.
The rest specs include a Li-Ion 3600mAh non-removable battery, Fast Charging support, dual SIM slots, 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC and microUSB Type C.
Sony Xperia XA3 is likely to be available in four most demanding body colors like Silver, Black, Blue and Pink. The Xperia XA2 has also come in the same aforementioned body colors.
